Who Is Lazyboy?

My name is Ronald Loeffler. For many years I figured I needed no help from invisible spirit beings to get through life. After all, I had it made. Just a week before my 50th birthday, everything changed: Christ entered my life. Then, I really had it made.

I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1937. I joined the Armed Forces when I was 18. During the first 20 years of my military career, I worked as an Intelligence specialist and officer. I spent the final years as a social actions officer and educator. Now retired and living in Texas, I have been married half a century. My wife Alicia and I have six children, 15 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers. (Proverbs 17:6)

I am an evangelical fundamentalist Christian. Neither zealot nor legalist, I oppose liberalism and modernism in the Church. I hold to five major tenets of the faith: (1) the miracles of Christ; (2) the virgin birth of Christ; (3) the substitutionary atonement of Christ; (4) the bodily resurrection of Christ; and (5) the inspiration of Scripture.

I prefer lifestyle evangelism; manifesting Christ in what I do, though I stand ready to proclaim the Gospel to all who care to listen. During about four years, as an Evangellical Christian, I worked with a Catholic Pro-Life group and the local Archdiocese. During that period I travelled extensively, teaching and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a Christian pro-life message in schools and Catholic churches throughout Mexico and south central Texas. As a consequence of my relationship with the Catholic Pro-Life movement, I often was invited to present my program to CCD classes and in theology classerooms of every Catholic high school in San Antonio. Though I continue to write on religious subjects, health and other considerations now limit my outreach to on-line counselling and prayer.
