Catholicism and Scripture

Christians believe that the Bible is God's written revelation to man. If that is true, and I believe that it is, how did we get it?

The Roman Catholic Church claims that we have the Bible because she gave it to us. Rome supports this boast by pointing to her church councils, which she says identified and confirmed that Canon of Scriptures.

I believe that God Himself identified and confirmed the Canon, which He caused inspired writers to put into words.

The articles linked below address Rome's claimed relationship to Scripture.
